AUGUSTUS E. NWACHUKWU – Managing Partner
Augustus Nwachukwu has over a decade’s work experience that cuts across the Oil & Gas, Education and Financial Services Industries. Very strong expertise in investment, financial portfolio management, financial commodities and trading.
He worked in Stanbic IBTC between 2006 – 2014 as a Fixed Income Trader, Asset and Liability Manager, Money Market Trader, Treasury Bills Trader and Interest Rate Sales Manager. He also worked as a Sales and Structuring Manager at Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria between May 2014 and October 2015. From August 2016 to July 2019, he led the Global Market team at Parthian Partners where he brokered over $200M worth of Eurobonds, making Parthian Partners the Best Broking House as awarded by regulatory body FMDQ.
A graduate of Applied Chemistry from University of Jos, his focus is on providing financial services/solutions and structures to suit financial, non-bank financial and corporate organizations within the global market.
VICTOR I. DADA – Partner
Prior to DANE Investments, Victor was Head Money Markets, trading for Stanbic IBTC bank (member of standard bank group) and was responsible for managing the loans and deposits book for the bank while also managing the Bank’s primary dealing license for treasury bills trading.
With an industry experience of over 11 years in different positions in the bank, Victor has gathered a wealth of experience to help DANE Investments achieve its set goals. He started his career as an intern in then Stanbic bank (member of standard bank group) and quickly rose through the ranks to head money markets trading. Victor was elected into the Financial Market Dealers Association as a member of the money markets workgroup with the aim of developing the market while also coming up with new ideas to move the market forward.
Victor has a B. Tech in computer science from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and holds an ACI dealing certificate.
OLUSHOLA K. ALADE – Partner
Prior to the establishment of DANE Investments in 2019, Mr. Alade was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Africe Farms Limited overseeing the production, processing, distribution as well as daily activities of the over 1,500 hectares of rice plantation.
He worked at the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) as a Bank Examiner in the Bank Examination Department, reviewing liquidity positions, examining and carrying out different examinations of banks in the country until 2014. Prior to working at NDIC, he worked as a corporate dealer in Global Markets unit of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc. Trading fixed income securities amongst others, a position he held until 2011.
Shola has diverse experience covering the financial services, banking and the agricultural sectors of the Nigerian economy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Ilorin and a Master of Science degree in Financial Management from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
ADEOLU M. ADENIJI- Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Adeolu Adeniji is a Senior Manager at DANE Investments Limited, a position he assumed January 2019. Prior to joining Dane Investments, he worked as an Investment Manager and Dealing Clerk at Portfolio Advisers Limited – one of the authorized dealing firms registered with the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He was the Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at Gracefield Bureau de Change Limited until 2018.
Mr. Adeniji worked as an Investment Advisor at Meristem Securities Limited providing portfolio advisory services to both high-net worth investors. Mr. Adeniji began his career as an Accountant at B.T. Lincoln Engineering Services in 2003. Having completed the compulsory National Youth Service Corps program at Dolor Ogebebor & Associates in 2005, he worked as an Accountant at Goldhall Bureau de Change Limited until 2008. Mr. Adeniji holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
He is a chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Mr. Adeniji is also an associate Chartered Stockbroker and member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria.
